An Enigmatic ReunionReleased : Jan 10, 2008 Enigma makes its way to London On the Tuesday before Christmas, an Enigma Machine found its way to London from Bletchley for a remarkably poignant and profound event - a reunion of Bletchley Park Codebreakers 62 years after they had played a major part in bringing World War Two to a conclusion. This special meeting of people, chosen for their wartime roles because of their brilliant minds, was for a recording of the Radio 4 programme, 'The Reunion', hosted by former 'Today' programme presenter, Sue MacGregor. Some powerful revelations and nostalgic recollections were more fascinating for the fact that they had been kept totally secret by these amazing individuals for over thirty years. The programme will be broadcast in early April of next year.
