Block B Exhibition Centre You will be fascinated by the World War II Story based in Block B. It features the Home Front display which gives a view of what life was like during war-time Britain, and showing what sort of pastimes kept 1940s children occupied before the advent of television and computer games. The Toy and Household Memorabilia collection has a huge range of old toys from lead soldiers to paper dress-up dolls. You can also see what 'wash day' used to be like, with a display of household items for the 1940s. The Story of Bletchley Park exhibition tells the history of codebreaking at the Park, including real Enigma machines. The story continues with a real-life dispatch rider's motorbike and displays of listening devices used to intercept the German signals. There is also a cartoon storyboard showing what went on at the Park during the war years. We also have displays on Pigeons at War and the Enigma Cinema which shows films from the 1930s and 40s. Explore the Park & Spy on the Wildlife! The 29 acre site has lots of wide open spaces to explore and have fun in. We have many friendly ducks, swans and other bird species.
