Bletchley Park Trust is a registered charity and therefore is able to take advantage of the Government supported Gift Aid scheme. Under this scheme we are able to reclaim an extra 25p in tax for every £1.00 donated by a UK taxpayer. Between 6 April 2008 and 5 April 2011, the Government will also give us an extra 3p for every £1.00 donated as "transistional relief". This "transistional relief" does not affect your personal tax position.
To enable us to claim Gift Aid on your donation you must pay an amount of UK income tax and/or capital gains tax equal to the tax we reclaim on your donations. Gift Aid does not cost you anything, it is simply allows us as a charity to reclaim the tax on your donation.
