FAMILY FUN WEDNESDAYS AT BLETCHLEY PARK A brand new series of family fun days are being launched for the summer holidays at Bletchley Park. Designed specially for children from the age of 4 upwards, the days will feature a range of activities, from spy workshops and lessons in how to send Morse code, to interactive displays about the role of pigeons during World War Two and specially-created children’s guided tours. ![]() Starting on Wednesday 28 July, the Family Fun days will continue on consecutive Wednesdays until Wednesday 1 September. With Bletchley Park’s Annual Season ticket, you only have to pay for your first visit. You can then return time and time again for up to 12 months for free, which means that you and the family can come to every Family Fun Wednesday and only pay once. The Park’s newly resurfaced play area will once again be open for the summer, along with the giant chess board and as always, a full children’s menu is available in the café
Wednesday 1st September • Craft Activity 12.00 – 16.00, in the Mansion Billiard Room. Create your own race horses out of cotton reels.
• Children’s Guided Tour 12.00, starting from the mansion Music Room. • Evacuee Talk by Joan Draper 13.00, learn what it was like to be evacuated during WW2. • Spy Workshop 14.00, in Block B education. Workshop introducing the world of Codebreaking for children. • Trails and Activity Bags 12.00 – 16.00, in B Block Children’s area. • Pigeon Handling Collection 12.00 – 16.00, in the Mansion Billiard Room. • Pegasus Bridge Handling Collection 12.00 – 16.00, in B Block Children’s area. • Toy Museum opens 12.00 – 16.00.
